Society for Ultrastructural Pathology

The Society for Ultrastructural Pathology will hold its biennial meeting in the lively and attractive city of Barcelona, Spain on July 11 - 16, 2004. After the successful celebration of 20 years of Ultrapath conferences in Aspen, Colorado, the Society for Ultrastructural Pathology faces future challenges with a solid background.

The scientific program in Ultrapath XII will cover the application of electron microscopy in diagnostic pathology and its immunohistochemical and molecular correlations as in translational research. A section of the meeting will be devoted to the comprehensive review of significant areas of pathology in a format oriented toward pathologists in traning.

The meeting will be held in the four star Fira Palace, next to the relaxing Montjuic Park with its Olympic Games Stadium complex, historic buildings and colorful fountains. The hotel has superb room and facilities and it is conveniently connected to both the active city downtown and the airport.

The program committee invites you to submit abstracts to be considered for platform or poster presentations. Due to the expected demand and to the limited space available, early registration is suggested.
